This Privacy Policy explains how Clinton St, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Bites mobile application ("Bites" or the "App"). By using Bites, you agree to these practices.

1. What We Collect

We collect no personal data. Bites does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not transmit any information from your device to any server.

2. What We Store Locally

Bites stores two pieces of information on your device only, using iOS UserDefaults:

Goal selection (Cut, Maintain, or Bulk) so the app remembers your choice across launches.

Onboarding flow state to track which onboarding steps you have completed.

Both values stay on your device, are encrypted at rest by iOS, and are removed when you delete the app. They are never transmitted anywhere.

3. No Third Parties

Bites contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising frameworks, no crash reporters, and no tracking pixels. No data is shared with or collected by any third party.

4. No Tracking, Advertising, or Profiling

Bites does not track you, does not serve ads, and does not build a profile of your behavior.

5. Children's Privacy

Bites is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. Because Bites collects no data, there is no risk to children's data under COPPA or any other child-protection regulation.

6. GDPR (EU/UK)

Because Bites does not collect or process any personal data, the data-controller obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation are not applicable. No personal data leaves your device.

7. CCPA / CPRA (California)

Bites does not sell, share, or collect personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the California Privacy Rights Act.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change our data practices in the future, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Any future changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
